Richlyn Systems'
Sheffield Web Design team was asked by Sheffield University to create desktop applications of the FRAX tool, allowing users to use the tool without requiring a connection to the internet.
There are two versions of the desktop applications;
Individual Entry - this is similar to the front end of the current web version of FRAX and can be used to assess an unlimited number of individual patients.
Multi-Patient Entry - designed for researchers to handle analyses of large cohorts in a single operation. Data in entered through a text file with a set format and the results are exported into another text file for importing back into a database.
Richlyn created a website which users can register and download either of the applications. Users are forwarded to PayPal to purchase a application license and are directed back to the website after payment where they can then download the application purchased.

Users can now select Italian in the languages box to view the content of the FRAX website and the FRAX tool in Italian.
View the Italian language now on the
FRAX website.
