Roxspur Measurement & Control Ltd (RM&C) is one of the largest privately owned manufacturers of instrumentation products in the UK.
RM&C manufactures a comprehensive range of industry standard specialist instrumentation products with a wide variety of applications mainly for temperature, pressure, and flow and level measurement.
RM&C approached Richlyn Systems, Web Design Sheffield, to design and develop a striking new website with a fully integrated content management system. Richlyn created a website with a highly organised structure to display and provide detailed information for RM&C comphrensive range of products and services. The organised structure ensured that navigating through the website and viewing products is easy, simple and user friendly.
Features such as a slide menu, paging buttons and tabs were also included to make the site more user friendly. A intro page was created for the website to provide an overview of the website and allow users to quickly find the section of the website that they needed.

RM&C required a large number of products to be included on the website. To ensure that the content was organised, the three main categories, Instrumentation, Measurement Systems, Calibration & Maintenance were made into 3 separate pages, accesible though the intro page and with the links at the top and bottom of every page.
Each category was broken down into groups which were shown as a slide menu on the category page. The groups contained subcategories which when clicked on, navigated to a page to show all the products in that subcategory.
RM&C can easily update and manage all the content on the website at any time using the content management system (CMS) that Richlyns' Sheffield website design team incorporated into the website. New Groups and Subcategories can be added through the CMS if needed and the slide menu on the public website will update automatically to include them.
Richlyn's Sheffield web design team also included a search facilty which searches all the products, news items and website content to allow users to find what they need without navigating through the site. A 'Can We Help' link on the product pages taliored the contact form to ask questions specific to the category the user is in.
