Project Summary:
National Osteoporosis Guideline Group (NOGG) was established to address the need to integrate the expression of patient's fracture risk as a 10-year probability (the output from FRAX) with current clinical management of osteoporosis including the need to define thresholds for BMD measurement and treatment.
The University of Sheffield approached Richlyn Systems to create a number of webpages which would interact with the FRAX tool which they already had and plot the results onto the relevant graph.
Richlyn worked with The University of Sheffield to amend the FRAX tool to allow interaction with the new webpages containing the graphs. Users can also view their results on the graph without using the FRAX tool by inputting their results on the NOGG homepage.
